Meet Ximena & Pablo— Professional Romantics
It all started when one of Ximena’s closest friends asked us to photograph her wedding. Neither of us had been to a wedding before and there was something so incredibly moving about witnessing two people, madly in love, commit to one another in that way. Something definitely shifted for us that day. We both knew that we had a calling in this industry.
Something that is important to us is investing in creating art exclusively in analog formats. Ximena began collecting vintage cameras as young as 14 years old (she actually shot her first wedding with her very first film camera, a trusty Pentax K1000). Although our equipment has definitely changed, our passion stays the same. There’s just nothing like film. It’s timeless in nature and just pure magic.
As for the name To Have Her. It was chosen from the phrase “to have her is to have the stars”. We feel like that quote accurately describes the feeling of being in love. Being in the presence of your lover, your person, your best friend, feels like experiencing a celestial event. Like holding stardust in your hands because to have her, him, them…truly is like having the whole world.
Documenting your love is our passion.

“The photos Ximena and Pablo captured are breathtaking—timeless, artistic, and full of emotion.”
“…They have a classic quality that we know we’ll cherish for a lifetime, but with a creative edge that made every shot feel unique and personal. They didn’t just take pictures; they told a story, and somehow managed to catch the little in-between moments that meant the most to us.”
